Scientifically, agnosticism makes more sense than strong atheism or theism, where we are certain one way or another.

Thar she blows!

The largest passenger aircraft ever built touched down in Canada on a scheduled run for the first time on Monday at Toronto's Pearson International Airport.

At 3:49 p.m. ET, the Airbus A380 double-decker jumbo jet landed at Lester B. Pearson International Airport in Toronto — four minutes behind schedule. With a capacity of 486 passengers, Emirates flight EK421 will fly between Dubai and Toronto three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

"This is a tremendously exciting day," Greater Toronto Airports Authority president Lloyd McCoomb said. "We have been anticipating this amazing aircraft for a long time".

Spanning the length of a football field and standing as tall as a seven-storey building, the A380 boasts the best fuel efficiency of any commercial jet in the world — less than three litres per 100 kilometres per passenger. The plane can hold as many as 800 passengers, depending on the configuration.

Emirates has ordered 58 A380 models for its fleet — the most booked by any airline anywhere.

The jet was set to depart for Dubai in the United Arab Emirates again at 9:45 p.m. Monday evening before returning to Toronto Wednesday afternoon.

P.S. A first class ticket is 10 grand, but you do get to have a shower to freshen up before landing!
