Reporters pride gets carried away!

Saturday during Toronto's Gay Pride parade this past Saturday the Perspective Research Department sent a couple of our reporters down  for a report on the festivities, and what sort of debauchery would be taking place this year. 

Hundreds of self-proclaimed dykes along with transgender, queer, and bisexual's and their allies gathered for the Dyke March, which is held along with the Pride Parade. Toronto’s streets overflowed with women  when the 2012 Dyke March participants brought their anti-normative philosophy to Pride.

Organizers are quick to point out that the annual Dyke March is not a parade but rather a political demonstration of critical mass. This year’s demonstration, which included a two-minute die-in, snaked down Church, Bloor, Yonge and Carlton streets before culminating at Allan Gardens Park.

One of our reporters, and we won't say which one, got a little too carried away with the festivities, and the last we saw of her she had stripped naked and was marching down Yonge St.

Although we don't normally concern ourselves with this sort of thing, I would like to say that we would appreciate getting our reporter back, and if anyone has seen her please write to this blog and let us know where she is!
