I have to watch a new show on TV tonight.
I forget the name of it, but they have something called “SEXBOTS” on the show and that’s enough to tweak my interest!
(This brings to mind the TV show My Living Doll which was an American science fiction sitcom that aired for 26 episodes on CBS from September 27, 1964 to March 17, 1965. The series starred Bob Cummings as Dr. Bob McDonald, a psychiatrist who is given care of Rhoda Miller, a lifelike android (played by Julie Newmar) in the form of a sexy, Amazonian female, by her creator, a scientist who did not want her to fall into the hands of the military.)
Bob Cummings, of course, also starred in “The Bob Cummings Show, ” and “Love that Bob,” ………………, which gave rise to such stars as Ann B. Davis who went on to play the part of the housekeeper Alice in The Brady Bunch and Dwayne Hickman, who starred in “The many loves of Dobbie Giles,” and also introduced beatnik Maynard G. When the first hybrid cars hit the streets, people would point and stare, even stop owners on the street to ask questions.
Was it a fad? A novelty? A toy for green enthusiasts?
Time has proven otherwise.

was the third-best-selling family car in the world. When the latest
generation of plug-in electric cars hit the mass market three years ago,
they evoked the same mix of reactions as hybrids did: enthusiasm,
curiosity, and some skepticism. However, they’re selling at more than
twice the rate
at which the first widely available hybrids left dealers’ lots.

Thanks to some savvy, forward-looking plans in many states across the country, electric vehicles are charging ahead. Yesterday, Charge Ahead California, a coalition of community-based, public health and environmental groups — including the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) — announced a campaign to place 1 million electric vehicles on California’s roads within the next 10 years.
California is also part of an eight-state coalition, including Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island and Vermont, which recently agreed to work together to get 3.3 million electric vehicles on the road by 2025. And the recently signed Pacific Coast Climate Action plan, issued by the governors of California, Washington and Oregon, and the premier of British Columbia, also calls for scaling-up electric vehicle sales.
Why the push for more electric cars? Because right now, they are incontestably the cleanest vehicles available. They’re clean because they produce zero tailpipe emissions. None. No smoke, smell, pollution — nothing coming out of the tailpipe.
MEANWHILE, here in Canada, the one major drawback to electric vehicles is our WINTERS!

A suburban Kansas City woman who posted a Craigslist ad offering to swap her wedding ring set for tickets to a Chiefs-Broncos game has found a buyer!
Folks, I cringe every time I hear the word “bitch,” but in this case, it’s the only word that fits!
The Overland Park, Kan., woman posted the ad last week seeking tickets for the Dec. 1 game at Arrowhead Stadium.
On Thursday, the woman, who asked to remain anonymous, sent an email to local media saying she had made the transaction.
“It’s official! I have tickets to the game!!!” the woman said. “We met at a jewelry store so they could verify the ring was real and matched the appraisal I had provided him.”

The Prince Edward Island government — as other governments do — have put out a booklet about children’s sexual behaviours.
This excerpt from the booklet’s introduction explains why.
At issue is a chart in the ‘parents’ guide’ which classifies each ‘sexual’ behaviour as: ‘natural and healthy’, ‘of concern’ or ‘seek professional help’ for different age groups.
Here are two of the specific ‘natural and healthy’ behaviours that are raising some eyebrows:
Nevertheless, a couple of right-leaning organizations are disappointed with the P.E.I. government.
Gwen Landolt, National Vice President of REAL Women of Canada told LifeSiteNews.com that the guidelines are “permissive” and an attempt to make children more “vulnerable to sexual activity.”
“This is not only inappropriate, but destructive,” Landolt, whose organization made headlines for recently launching an attack against the Harper government’s defence of gay rights on the international stage, said.
“I don’t know what ‘children’ they are referring to, but no normal children do these things at those age groups.”
The Sun News network also took umbrage to the guide calling it “creepy.”
“They’re being encouraged in fact, it says do not discourage these children. Do not discipline them. Do not shame them should they do any one of these listed healthy habits,” commentator Faith Goldy said.
“…You would be put in jail for allowing a child to touch your genitalia with or her hand or body. Yet we have the government putting out some sort of guideline telling us ‘hey, it’s cool, don’t discourage them.’”
The sexual behaviour chart and guidelines were developed by psychologist Toni Cavanagh Johnson, PhD.
Johnson, who is based in California, has written five books and numerous journal articles about sexual behavior problems and child sexual abuse.
Obviously, some disagree with her years of research.

It is normal for children under the age of 12 to behave in sexual ways. In fact, according to William Friedrich of the Mayo clinic, sexual behaviour in children peaks between the ages of three and six .There are some, however, taking exception to the content of the booklet.
However, some sexual behaviour in children may be an indication that there is something wrong – that the child has been sexually molested, has been exposed prematurely to adult sexual knowledge, or has begun to use sexual behaviour as a way to get emotional needs met, etc .
This guide is intended to provide parents with information to help determine whether their child’s behaviour is normal and healthy, or a sign that something may be wrong .
