Folks, there was a period of about five hundred years where a long running battle was raged between Europe and the Middle-East.
It happened during the first half of the last millennium, and even though it was termed a battle between the Catholic Church and Islam, we all know it was really a battle of CULTURES. (See my article on Cultures from a few days ago!)
Things have been rather quiet during the last five hundred years, but now it looks as if they are going to get interesting again! (Remember that old Chinese curse: “may you live in interesting times!”)
David Cameron, Prime Minister of the U.K. just raised the “threat level” from Islamist militants to “SEVERE’ which is the second highest level,,. (The highest is “holy shit!”) and the U.S. is about to follow suit ……………………, if they can get Obama off his ass!
