The left-wing is crazy and the right-wing scares the shit out of me!

Don't sweat the climate change stuff! (Sorry, I coudn't resist!)

Dear Readers:

There has been lots of talk about ocean levels rising with global warming, and this has a lot of people worried, but not as worried as they should be if you consider what's happening on land as the ocean levels slowly rise up past our knees!

In as little as three decades, much of the Middle East and North Africa will be too hot for humans to survive, forcing people to flee in droves, according to stark climate predictions released last month.
Researchers at Germany’s Max Planck Institute found that by the middle of this century, the region will see heat waves 10 times more often, with temperatures inching close to 50 C in the warmest months. And even the Paris climate agreement’s ambitions of slowing global warming to less than 2 C would do little to mitigate the damage, the study warned.
The more than 550 million people in the sweltering region already live inside “the margin of what is physically possible” — meaning a slight uptick in temperature would be enough to render it uninhabitable, Johannes Lelieveld, one of the study’s six authors, told the National Post.
BUT, DON'T GET YOURSELF IN TOO MUCH OF A SWEAT FOLKS! (Sorry, I just couldn't resist that!)

Donald's future Vice President running mate Sarah Palin has given up on the - abortions are just an excuse to harvest babies brains thing, - so that she can spend more time slamming climate change:

Kinda brings on a warm glow inside you, doesn't it? (Or is that just an ulcer she's giving me?)

Some people are talented, and then some other people are REALLY talented!

Canadian actor Kiefer Sutherland will perform at the TD Toronto Jazz Festival in June. Organizers say Sutherland will perform music from his forthcoming debut country album, Down In A Hole, at the Horseshoe Tavern on June 27.
Sutherland is working on the album with longtime music partner Jude Cole.
In a statement, the former 24 star says the 11 songs are pulled from his own experiences.
He adds there's "something very satisfying about being able to look back" on his life, the "good times and bad," and express it through music.
"To be invited to play [the Toronto Jazz Festival] was an honour," Sutherland said. "Not to mention it's my hometown and I can't tell you how excited I am to be a part of it."
The Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner recently announced a U.S. tour for the new music.
