Dear Readers:

Your ever humble reporter was surfing the web today and I saw an article about Tiger woods that reminded me this guy really likes blondes!

In November 2003, Woods became engaged to Elin Nordegren, a Swedish former model and daughter of former minister of migration Barbro Holmberg and radio journalist Thomas Nordegren. They were introduced during The Open Championship in 2001 by Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik, who had employed her as an au pair. They married on October 5, 2004, at the Sandy Lane resort in Barbados, and lived at Isleworth, a community in Windermere, a suburb of Orlando, Florida. In 2006, they purchased a $39-million estate in Jupiter Island, Florida, and began constructing a 10,000-square-foot home; Woods moved there in 2010 following the couple's divorce, which was not only nasty, but made national headlines when they had a "knock em down and drag em out" fight on their front lawn.

After the divorce Tiger started dating American skier Lindsey Vonn and they became an item ......, but they eventually had to split up because Tiger kept calling her "Elin!" (The two ladies could be twin sisters! -Ed.)

After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. I will always cherish the memories that we've created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart.

Now the reason I'm writing this is because Tiger's life turned out to be vastly different than what was in store for him from his humble beginnings in Cypress, California.

If it hadn't been for golf, Mr Woods would have led a quiet existence selling insurance and marrying his childhood sweetheart Blossom Jefferson.
