Dear Friends: Here's a quick wrap-up of Inauguration Day!Well, he did it folks, Dapper Don took the oath of office at noon today and became the 45th president of the United States!
Meanwhile, Barack Obama, now unemployed and homeless, walked around to the front of the Capital Building and caught a cab to wherever it was he was going.
The rest of the afternoon was filled with pomp and circumstance, which all culminated with three Inauguration Balls ....., and more speeches by now President Drumpf. (By the way, the president wanted to start working right away tomorrow morning, but was outraged when he discovered that civil servants don't work Saturdays.)
P.S. Trump wanted tanks and missiles in his inauguration day parade, (and maybe a dictator's uniform,) but all they gave him was a dilapidated helicopter on a flatbed! (No kidding folks!)
