Dear Friends:
Canadians elected a Liberal minority government yesterday but just like the last U.S. election, the losing Party got the most popular votes.
Clinton got 3 million more votes than Donald Drumpf...... and yesterday here in Canada..... Conservative Andrew Scheer got more votes than Justin Trudeau even though the Liberals got to form the next government.
Folks, the sooner we go to a system where the majority of citizens get to pick the winner instead of the screwed up method we now employ.... the more democratic our two countries will become.
The powers that be should design some sort of a hacker-proof computer system so that not only major elections...... but local decisions of a municipal nature could be decided on a regular basis.
Not until we get to a "one person - one vote" system will our government be truly democratic!
