Seems this guy will do anything to attract a bit of publicity, so we might as well help him show everyone what an asshole he is!

The Freethinker’s favourite creationist clown, (aka Harun Yahya, see here, and here, and here) has really surpassed himself this time. According to The Independent, the man who describes himself as “a prominent Turkish intellectual” has offered 10 trillion Turkish lira (that’s about £4.4 trillion or $8 trillion) to anyone who produces a single intermediate-form fossil demonstrating evolution.
As creationists of his ilk simply do not accept evidence which contradicts their world-view, it seems unlikely that he would pay out the reward – even if he had that kind of money. Which he doesn’t.
The hilarious Mr Aktar claims to be “dedicated to communicating the sacred values he cherishes”, but a look at the biographical pages on his website reveal where his real passion lies. (Seriously, click on that last link – it is very revealing).
Aktar clearly has never been the sharpest tool in the box. However, this latest multi-trillion farce is so idiotic as to raise serious concerns. Maybe the devout Muslim has been butting the rug a bit too hard of late? You’d better ease off a little, Adnan – you can’t afford to lose any more brain cells!

Kent E. Hovind (born January 15, 1953) is an American young earth creationist. Hovind has spoken on creation science and has aimed to convince listeners to reject theories of evolution, geophysics, and cosmology in favor of his particular interpretation of the Genesis creation narrative from the Bible. Hovind’s views are contradicted by scientific evidence and some of his ideas have also been criticized by young earth creationist organizations such as Answers in Genesis.
Hovind’s $250,000 offer
According to Hovind’s website, he has offered $10,000 since 1990 to those who can “prove the theory of evolution.” He has since raised the amount of the reward to $250,000
(Hovind established the Creation Science Evangelism ministry in 1989, and frequently spoke on young Earth creationism at seminars at private schools and churches, debates, and on radio and television broadcasts. Since January 2007, Hovind has been serving a ten-year prison sentence after being convicted of 58 federal counts, including 12 tax offenses, one count of obstructing federal agents, and 45 counts of structuring cash transactions. He is incarcerated at the FPC Satellite Camp of the ADX Florence prison in Florence, Colorado.)

Let me tell ya something kids, Adnan Oktar’s offer of money to prove evolution is about as solid as Kent Hovind’s offer.
A few years ago I sent Hovind irrefutable proof that evolution was real and instead of replying to my arguments………………., he simply stated the I WAS WRONG!
Don’t ya just love these guys!
By the way, I’m still waiting for the money!
