The scary part of all this was that nobody knew where she worked, including the people in her apartment building, yet when the cops wanted more info on the accident they showed up without hesitation. (The reason nobody knows where she worked is because the girl is very, very, private ……………, she is just like her mother, she doesn’t like other people knowing anything about her.)
We here at Perspective on Canada, and BlogsCanada.ca have been saying for years that as far as the cops and government are concerned, they would be happy finger printing, retinal scanning, and collecting DNA samples from everyone at birth, and requiring travel papers to go anywhere! (Fascism and a police state are lurking just under the surface folks.)
Fortunately that hasn’t happened yet, but if the present trends continue then ‘Big Brother’ will control every aspect of our lives. (Look at the amount of public video camera’s in Great Britain, and how the U.S. government has used 9/11 as an excuse to bring them further down the road to a police state!)
If you still don’t believe these warnings, here is another example from right down the road in Toronto this week.
Some members of the gay and lesbian community are
raising concerns about privacy issues after they were sent an email from
the office of the immigration minister that extols the government’s
handling of cases of lesbian and gay refugees from Iran.
Many of the people who received the email, sent from Immigration Minister Jason Kenney’s office, are asking how Kenney and his government know their sexual orientation.
“I just thought, my god, this is complete propaganda, how did he get my email? What the heck is going on here?” said Datejie Green, from Toronto.
The email was titled “LGBT Refugees from Iran” and touted what Kenney called his government’s strong record of defending gay and lesbian rights around the world.
“This is scary. This is actually really scary,” Green said. “I wasn’t just disturbed, I was frightened, because they’re clearly stockpiling lists of particular constituencies of Canadians, for their propaganda.”
