O.K. kids, we take you now to Kamloops, British Columbia, where a 51-year-old man is recovering in hospital.
He has been badly burnt.
There is a deep gash on his head.
He is lucky to be alive……………….!
The man had been taking a break in a field.
He’d been drinking.
He’d lay down in the long grsss for a smoke.
The grass caught fire.
The fire had spread to his clothes.
The man grabbed his bicycle and raced off.
It was then that a locomotive belonging to the Canadian Pacific Railway stuck him.
AND, to add insult to injury, police are investigating whether the bike was stolen!
