I am often asked why we don’t do more stories on the “Rest of Canada” here on BlogsCanada.ca and Allan’s-Perspective!
First of all, the Perspective Research Department and the Naked News Staff are headquartered here in S.W. Ontario, so naturally this is where we cover most of the stories.
We also give you news about B.C., Alberta, the Prairies, and the East Coast now and then …………….., and not too much about Quebec because they don’t speak English there, and I don’t speak French! (Please don’t tell me I’m too lazy to learn another language …….., your humble reporter already speaks Dutch, German and Scottish, in addition to English!)
Just the same folks your erstwhile diligent reporter feels guilty about not doing enough for the people of Estevan or Corner Brook, UNTIL I READ SOMETHING LIKE THIS FRONT PAGE HEADLINE FROM WINNIPEG!

A garage was destroyed by fire in Winnipeg on Thursday morning.
Nothing much is left of a garage after a fire Thursday morning. (Sara Calnek/CBC) –>
Emergency crews were called to the fire, on the 700 block of Stella Avenue, just after 3:30 a.m.Only a charred frame was left of the detached garage when the flames were put out.
No one was injured.
