The African Union has accused the International Criminal Court of “hunting” Africans because of their race.  Hailemariam Desalegn, Ethiopia’s prime minister and the chairman of the African Union (AU), said it would complain to the United Nations about the “flawed” ICC system which meant that, of those indicted, “99 per cent are Africans”.
He condemned the “chasing” of Uhuru Kenyatta, Kenya’s recently elected president, who is due to stand trial in July on charges of crimes against humanity over accusations that he fuelled election violence in 2007. Mr Kenyatta’s deputy, William Ruto, faces similar charges. Both men deny them. Omar al-Bashir, the Sudanese president, has also been accused of genocide over the conflict in Darfur – a charge he denies.
(GEE FOLKS, HAVE THEY EVER STOPPED TO CONSIDER THAT THOSE PEOPLE INDICTED WERE JUST PLAIN CORRUPT AND NASTY?)

Kids, do you remember the Koch Brothers?
They are the multi-billion dollar rich guys who are spending millions and millions on stopping the XL pipeline from being built.
They claim it is for environmental reasons, and are giving tons of money to the “greens” and environmentalists!
Bullshit!
It’s because the XL pipeline would eat into their own profits in the oil business!
They are about as ethical as that guy that didn’t want a second bridge between Detroit and Windsor!
coke2Koch’s petroleum coke is loaded onto a Canada Steamship Lines freighter, along the banks of the Detroit river in Detroit. The production of petroleum coke is an inevitable part of the refining process for all medium and heavy types of crude, and there is a healthy market for it as fuel.–>

Op-ed, Huffington Post
As Canadian crude oil producers and the largest supplier of crude oil to the United States, we believe the proposed Keystone XL oil pipeline between the two countries would strengthen our mutually advantageous relationship – the largest bi-lateral energy trading relationship in the world.
Keystone XL, planned in part to carry Canadian oil to the U.S. Gulf Coast, offers a conduit between responsible, secure suppliers and willing customers, all within North America.
Canada already supplies more oil to the U.S. than any other country. Current exports are about 2.5 million barrels per day or about 25 per cent of total U.S. oil imports. About one million barrels per day comes from the oil sands in Alberta.
The chemical composition and life-cycle greenhouse gas emissions of oil sands crude oil are similar to other heavy crude oil transported and refined in the United States. Crude from Canada’s oil sands has been transported safely via pipelines in North America for more than 30 years and poses no greater risk than any crude oil.
Total Canadian crude oil production is forecast to more than double over the next 15 years. Meanwhile, existing pipelines between Canada and the United States are increasingly running near capacity.
That’s why Keystone XL was proposed in the first place, along with several other pipeline projects in Canada and the United States. Additional transportation capacity within Canada, to the U.S. and beyond will be needed to meet growing demand for Canadian oil.

Well folks, it looks as if the Lefties are at it again!!!! According to a survey of George Washington University professors, some 30 percent generally endorse the eventual addition of President Barack Obama’s face to the Mount Rushmore National Memorial.
Professor Paul Wahlbeck, who chairs the political science department at GW, apparently believes that Obama could become some sort of affirmative-action addition to the monument.  “History undoubtedly will accord President Obama a special place by virtue of being the first African-American President,” Wahlbeck said.

Justin Bieber‘s already been in trouble once this year for racing his Ferrari through his gated neighborhood then spitting in the face of neighbors telling him to slow down. (It’s all about Christ’s love, y’all.) So it really shouldn’t come as a surprise that he’s being investigated again, this time for almost plowing over children. TMZ reports:
justin-bieber-adidas-neo-lead-600x450The incident occurred at around 8 PM Sunday night. L.A. County Sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore tells TMZ … cops received 2 separate calls in different locations in the Calabasas community. Sources say one of the callers was Keyshawn Johnson.
Whitmore says the callers reported Bieber was driving at a “startling high rate of speed.” At least one child was playing in the area where Bieber was allegedly driving.  We’re told cops responded but Bieber refused to speak with them.
When reached for comment, officers said, “We knew something was wrong when a pretty big black man picked up a phone and called the police. Dead giveaway. Dead giveaway. That kid’s got big testicles because these dudes won’t talk to us everyday.”
(One of the most honest opinions about Bieber was from his next door neighbour: “The kid’s an asshole!” -Ed.)

Paul McCartney made his first visit to the one-time home of the King of Rock `N’ Roll and left a gift behind.
According to the official Twitter account of the former Beatle, McCartney dropped a personal guitar pick on Elvis Presley’s grave and said it was “so Elvis can play in heaven.”

For the second year in a row, some particularly assertive crows have made an area of downtown St. John’s a tricky place to walk.
Crows have had such a strong presence near the Anglican Cathedral that church officials posted a sign warning pedestrians of a sudden attack.
Helen Mackey, who works at a nearby law office and uses the church parking lot every day, said she chuckled when she saw the warning — but not after a crow swooped in and hit her. “The crow just came out of nowhere and he hit me in the back of the head,” said Helen Mackey, who works at a nearby law office.
Mackey believes the crows are being protective of their nest and that city staff should step in to transport them to another location.
A similar scenario played out last summer, when pedestrians reported being struck by dive-bombing crows.
