Thursday stuff!

AND YOU THINK YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE NEIGHBOURS! Police responding to a noise complaint in Baraboo, Wis., found that the loud noises were actually the loud sounds of frogs fucking.
It was the second time this month that a neighbor called police to complain about "loud music" coming from Debbie and Jeff Alsip's backyard, Baraboo's News Republic reported.
"Every spring, this happens," Debbi Alsip told the News Republic. "It has woke us up before, if we have our windows open."
Officer Mike Pichler told the News Republic that when he arrived he found about a dozen frogs in the Alsip's backyard koi pond mating and emitting their loud, shrill mating calls.
The paper reported the Alsips have had the pond since 1994 and that each spring female frogs lay their eggs in the area outside Madison and look for Mr. Right.

More than a decade after going to war against the Taliban in Afghanistan, the Canadian government has officially declared them a terrorist group.
The Taliban has been added to the so-called list of entities, along with the Haqqani network, an Islamist group believed to be behind ongoing attacks on international coalition forces in Afghanistan.
Both were added by Public Safety Minister Vic Toews earlier this month, bringing to 46 the number of groups on the terrorist list, which was set up in the wake of the 9/11 attacks.
When asked why it took nearly ten years for the declaration; Toews said that they had wanted to do this years ago, but, you know ........,., shit happens!

Well, this doesn't look good for the Harper government.
The Globe and Mail is reporting that Nigel Wright, the prime minister's chief of staff, "personally funded Senator Mike Duffy’s repayment of more than $90,000 in improperly-claimed living expenses."
The money is a gift, according to the PMO, from Wright, who was a high power executive on Bay Street before joining the prime minister's team in 2010.

Well listen to THIS folks, I've always voted Conservative .........,, so how about Wright making a few mortgage payments for ME!

Long lines of anxious drinkers formed in liquor stores across Ontario today ahead of the Victoria Day long weekend as a midnight strike deadline for store workers looms. Police have reported trouble in a few spots but are optimistic that wide scale looting can be averted!

You definitely don't expect a Mom to offer up her three-year-old son on the seedy but useful classifieds website. But that's just what Stephanie Redus did. She used Craiglist to get her son adopted by a new family.

Hi, I'm trying to adopt out my 3yr old son. I'm not in a good place in my life and don't feel like I can care for him properly but I don't know where to start. If you or know anyone who is interested in caring for him, please let me know. I'm a single mom and can't do this.
Thanks, Desperate.
If Redus, a 29-year-old single mother, didn't feel equipped to continue being a mother to her son, that's totally her decision to make. But to put the adoption alert out on Craigslist? Um. Yeah. The only thing worse would be if Redus tried to pawn him off at a Flea Market with old stamps, broken typewriters and handmade jewelry. It's clear that a woman who would do this to her son needs a bit of help.
