The military said Sunday it disciplined the women, who were reportedly new recruits stationed on a base in southern Israel.
In the photo, the recruits were standing with their army fatigues pulled down to expose their skimpy underwear and buttocks.
In another photo, five women posed in what looked to be a barracks room, wearing only helmets and their combat vests.

Trying to prepare her nine-year-old daughter for intercourse with a male client by using a sex toy should land a Calgary prostitute a five-year prison term, a prosecutor said Friday.
Crown lawyer Rosalind Greenwood said the woman’s conduct amounted to grooming her daughter for the sex trade.
But defence counsel Allan Fay said his client, who can’t be named to protect her victim’s identity, thought she was helping give her daughter a better life.
“She says my client was grooming (her) for the sex trade — I do not agree,” Fay told Justice Beth Hughes, as his client dabbed away tears.
Fay noted his client told a doctor she thought she could use the money she got for selling her daughter to get into the property management business.

One of two men charged with murdering a British soldier on a busy London street appeared in court for the first time on Monday, blowing kisses to a supporter in the public gallery and clutching what appeared to be a Koran.
dynamic_resizeMichael Adebolajo, who was shot by police along with another man at the scene of the killing of Drummer Lee Rigby, appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court with his left arm wrapped in bandages.
Flanked by three guards behind glass panels in the dock, Adebolajo asked to be identified by a different name, Mujahid Abu Hamza. His defense lawyer David Gottlieb and Deputy chief magistrate Emma Arbuthnot referred to him as Abu Hamza during the hearing.
Adebolajo repeatedly interrupted proceedings, asking why he had to stand up and questioning the charges after they were read to him.
“May I respond, may I respond,” he asked several times during the five-minute hearing. He did not enter a plea and the magistrate said a further hearing will take place at the Central Criminal Court, known as the Old Bailey, on June 28.

The family of a man suspected of hacking a British soldier to death on a London street condemned the attack as senseless on Tuesday, distancing itself from the murder which has provoked an anti-Muslim backlash.
Lee Rigby, a 25-year-old veteran Of the Afghan war, was butchered in broad daylight by two men who said they killed him in the name of Islam.
Police shot and wounded the assailants, both Britons of Nigerian descent, at the scene of the crime which has prompted questions about the security services’ ability to prevent attacks of this kind.
In their first public remarks since the murder on Wednesday, relatives of one of the suspects, Michael Adebolajo, a 28-year-old British-born convert from a Christian Nigerian family, said they felt ashamed and horrified.
“Nothing we say can undo the events of last week,” the family said in a statement.
“However, as a family, we wish to share with others our horror at the senseless killing of Lee Rigby and express our profound shame and distress that this has brought on our family.”
