It’s not just in places like Egypt that you find people wanting to transform their country into an Islamist state.
It’s happening over here.
Via Rail terror suspect Chiheb Esseghaier once again appeared in
court Monday. He reiterated his demand to be judged by Islamic law.“I want a judgment based on the holy Qur’an,” he told the judge. “Any lawyer that refuses that need, goodbye to him.”
Esseghaier will represent himself if he cannot find such a lawyer — which of course he won’t.
He believes the Qur’an is superior to Canadian law. That we should all be subject to it.
This is a result of our political correctness enabling such attitudes, rather than stamping them out.'
Yet the Canadian media are largely silent on this.
What a double standard.

This article by Tony Furey is a good introduction to another article that was sent to us by one of our readers a few weeks ago.
(I was torn on whether I should print it or not, but after reading Tony’s article, I decided it might be appropriate after all.)
Japan is a country keeping Islam at bay.
The reasons are :
1) Japan is the only nation that does not give citizenship to Muslims.
2) In Japan permanent residency is not given to Muslims.
3) There is a strong ban on the propagation of Islam in Japan.
4) In the University of Japan, Arabic or any Islamic language is not taught.
Japan has put strict restrictions on Islam and ALL Muslims.

5) One cannot import a ‘Koran’ published in the Arabic language.
6) According to data published by the Japanese government, it has given temporary residency to only 2 Muslims, who must follow the Japanese Law of the Land. These Muslims should speak Japanese and carry out their religious rituals only in their homes.
7) Japan is the only country in the world that has a negligible number of embassies in Islamic countries.

New research from the UK reveals some facts that may influence your next car purchase.Birds, it seems, poop much more frequently on some car colours than others.
The study, which looked at more than 1,000 cars in five English cities, found that, by a wide margin, red was the car colour birds enjoyed dumping on most.
Blue and black were also commonly sought by loose-boweled avians (14 per cent and 11 per cent, respectively).
The safest colours, in descending order of crapping danger, were white, grey/silver, and green.

Some guy tried to smuggle pot into the States by swimming the St. Clair river near Port Lambton, just south of Sarnia.
(I know the area well because I keet my boat there!)A man equipped with scuba gear was arrested after allegedly hauling 8 pounds of marijuana, crossing the U.S.-Canadian border underwater, according to border officials.
The man, whose name has not been released by authorities, made the swim in the dead of night when there was less chance he would be seen ………….., or get run over by a freighter.

Toronto EMS was called to the Canadian National Exhibition after 12 people who all ate at the Ex complained of stomach problems.
Their symptoms included stomach pain, vomiting and diarrhea.
All of the patients ate at the fair, but EMS could not confirm whether or not they had eaten from the same food vendors.
Toronto Public Health is investigating.
