MEANWHILE: It may not be a good thing for her, but Miley Cyrus had the most memorable moment at the MTV Video Music Awards.

A picture is worth a thousand words, ay? Miley Cyrus broke the raunchiness barrier during her 2013 Video Music Awards at the Barclays Center on Sunday, Aug. 25 in Brooklyn, N.Y. and somehow managed to shock even the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
Will Smith and his famous kids Jaden and Willow were caught by an audience cam giving quite the priceless reaction to the 20-year-old singer’s performance of “We Can’t Stop” and her duet of “Blurred Lines” with Robin Thicke. The 44-year-old father and Jaden, 15, cringed, as Willow, 12, confirmed just how jaw-dropping the set really was.

NYET121-826_2013_012458_highThe provocative pop singer was the hot topic at Sunday night’s show: Cyrus eclipsed Lady Gaga’s opening performance of her new single, Katy Perry’s closing rendition of her latest hit and Kanye West’s artsy set. The 20-year-old even grabbed more attention than Justin Timberlake’s performance with his ‘N Sync band mates.
Cyrus twerked and gyrated, stripped and swayed. She sang, too.
She had a helper at the VMAs: Robin Thicke. After performing her edgy hit, “We Can’t Stop,” she sang the first verse of Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” and then grinded on the R&B singer in a nude bikini. The wild child also slapped a girl’s butt onstage.

2679276Oh, by the way……………………, Richard Simmons was there too!
As the celebrities were rolling in, many are surprised to see Richard Simmons among the star-studded crowd cozying up to celebrities and being absolutely fabulous.
Just what is the 65-year-old fitness god doing at the ceremony? Well, earlier this month he released a song along with lyric video “Hair Do.”

A Whore House with a drive-thru?
Switzerland has long been famous for its mountaineering, chocolate and precision watches, but a lesser known aspect is its legal prostitution since 1942, for which its largest city is one of the main centres in Europe.

522294084Fashionably teak-coloured open wooden garages, popularly called “sex boxes” by the Swiss media, will be open for business for drive-in customers. The several dozen sex workers who are expected to make it their new hub will stand along a short road in a small, circular park for clients to choose from and negotiate with. The park was built in a former industrial area nestled between a rail yard and the fence along a major highway.
The drive-in garages, or sheds, have no doors to shut and come equipped with an emergency call button on the passenger side of the structure that sets off a flashing light and a loud alarm inside an adjacent office building where the city will post social workers specially trained to provide a measure of security. The Zurich police say they will beef up patrols around the perimeter to protect the sex workers when they leave and enter.
Modeled after the drive-in brothels used in several cities in Germany and the Netherlands, which have had mixed success improving safety, the sex boxes will be open daily from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. The city painted the outdoor bathrooms in soft pink and blue, strung colorful light bulbs among the trees and posted creative signs encouraging the use of condoms to spruce the place up a little and make it seem more pleasant.

Rather an interesting article by Tony Furey of QMI today!

untitledI won’t bore you with all the details except to say that a Chinese woman who has been in this country for over ten years, tried to get a hot chocolate at a local Vancouver McDonald’s restaurant.
Only problem was that it was lunch time, the restaurant was packed, and staff couldn’t understand a word she said.
Hia Xia Sun told QMI Agency that she ordered a hot chocolate in the Richmond location on August 15, but was given a mocha in error. When the 51-year-old woman pointed out the mistake, the store manager allegedly refused to serve Hai, telling her to move out of the line and saying, “You don’t understand English”.
The woman finally left, and now some of her relatives want a written apology from McDonald’s ………………………., or they are going to sue!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Like I said before folks, immigrants used to come to this country and wanted to know what their RESPONSIBILITIES were. Now they want to know what their RIGHTS are!)

It’s a multibillion dollar industry, some estimate bigger than professional baseball, football and basketball combined.
imagesCA5C1GQPBut now the adult entertainment industry is at a standstill because a performer has tested positive for the AIDS virus.
Adult film actress Cameron Bay has worked in the industry since 2010, not even on a regular basis.
But, her career is on hold.
She tested positive for HIV and her diagnosis has halted ALL porn production.
(Which leaves your bewildered reporter to wonder just how many movies this broad was in??????)

In a brazen daylight attack, a woman had her nose severed by an apparent stranger in a busy downtown Toronto shopping district Saturday, police said.
The 76-year-old was transferring from the streetcar to the subway at Dundas station on her way home at about 1:30 p.m. As she rode an elevator down from Dundas Square, the man assaulted her, cutting off her nose, then fled.

untitled(At first, she thought he was kidding when he said: “I GOT YOUR NOSE. and held up his hand, with his thumbs between his fingers………………….. , until she realized that wasn’t his thumb!!!!!!!!!!)
Toronto police said they have had no indication of what prompted the attack, and that it seemed to be random.
It is not known what weapon the suspect used.
Doctors re-attached the woman’s nose and she had been released from hospital by Sunday afternoon, they said.
Investigators are still waiting on surveillance footage. They said the suspect is between 40 and 60-years-old, and five-foot-six to five-foot-eight inches tall. It is not known what direction he went when he fled the scene.

(CNN) — Martin Manley hated waking up early, but on his 60th birthday he did — or more likely, never went to sleep the night before.

At 5 a.m. he entered a police station parking lot in a suburb of Kansas City, Kansas, walked to a spot beneath a tree on its far south end and pulled out his phone.
He dialed 911.
He said this: “I want to report a suicide at the south end of the parking lot of the Overland Park Police Station at 123rd and Metcalf.”
Then, the blogger and former sports reporter for the Kansas City Star pulled out his Saturday Night Special, a .380 pistol, and shot himself in the head.
