A storm system tracking into the Great Lakes area is bringing a bout of cool weather to Ontario and Quebec this week, and some regions are expected to see some lake effect snow as it passes through.

If you ever had your lunch disappear from the office refrigerator, consider what one man did: He called the cops.
2-Ply-Toilet-Paper-Annual-Award
Upper Macungie Township police were called Oct. 10, when, according to a police news release, an employee at Wakefern Food Corp. reported “that an unknown person stole his Jell-O brand strawberry Jell-O snack from the break room refrigerator,” and wins our “Asshole of the Day” award!
Police say the 39-year-old victim was angry because this wasn’t the first time someone had stolen his food.
So far, the thief hasn’t been caught, but they did say in a news release that the case remains under investigation!

Your otherwise staid and humorless reporter [sic] saw an ad today that completely broke me up.
1067863-Clipart-Flasher-Man-From-Behind-Royalty-Free-Vector-IllustrationIt was an e-mail for a penis enhancer and the letter said: “This Halloween, scare people with the size of your tool!”
If nothing else, whoever wrote that ad gets an “A” for originality!

police13Speaking of scary……………………, folks I know the U.S. is slowly turning into a Police State, but to think it’s happening right here in good old London, Ontario, is really scary.
We told you about the London cops that went to the area of the city where all the university kids live, and started collecting not only names and numbers of people that lived there, but their parents names and numbers, and all sorts of toheer mean, nasty, terrible stuff.
A lot of the kids gave up this information because they didn’t know any better, but apparently the cops knew enough not to ask any actual ADULTS for this info!

imagesAt some public school, somewhere or other in this big land of ours, (this is a TRUE story kids) a 12 year old girl made up a story about some guy with a mask on the school’s property doing something or other. (Can’t remember what it was!)
The cops found out the next day that the kid made the whole thing up, so you would think that’s the end of it………………..right?
NO SIR, now the students are not allowed to walk to any of the school portables by themselves!
It’s only fifty feet, and on a fenced in school yard ……………., but students have to go in groups between the buildings, because there is safety in numbers against imagined bad guys!

imagesCA0V4H4TChinese authorities are cracking down on how often broadcasters can air reality, dating and talent shows such as the Chinese versions of “American Idol” and “The Voice,” which draw huge audiences.
Provincial broadcasters show such programs, which are cheap to produce and earn a lot of advertising revenue, on satellite channels that are broadcast around the country.
The official Xinhua News Agency reported that the “American Idol” kind of talent shows now need approval from the body that oversees broadcasting, which will license one such program per channel each quarter for prime-time viewing.

imagesCABTBQ5GAs you may of heard, the United Nations got together, and some of the countries like Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Syria and Somalia have been complaining about Canada’s human rights record and the treatment of our Indians!

Canada is facing a crisis over aboriginal issues despite years of efforts to overcome tensions and address social problems, a UN expert who recently visited the country said Monday.
James Anaya, UN special rapporteur on indigenous rights, (AND IS A NATIVE HIMSELF!) said Canada has not narrowed social disparities between aboriginal and other Canadians in recent years. He said disputes over land and natural resources continue to be a source of tension and distrust
Such disputes include recent protests against shale gas exploration in eastern New Brunswick, opposed by the Elsipogtog First Nation. The protests turned violent last week when the Royal Canadian Mounted Police enforced an injunction to end a demonstration against seismic testing by energy company SWN Resources. Six police vehicles were set on fire and 40 people were arrested.

James Anaya
Now, dig this!!!!!
Anaya has served as a consultant for organizations and government agencies in numerous countries on matters of human rights and indigenous peoples, and he has represented indigenous groups from many parts of North and Central America in landmark cases before courts and international organizations.
(NOW LET’S SEE WHAT WE HAVE HERE KIDS ………………, we have an Indian, telling a group of the worst human rights abusers on the planet, that Indians are hard done by here in Canada! That’s just like asking the fox to guard the hen-house, folks!

AND FINALLY: During the clash between the RCMP and the ‘anti-fracking” protesters in New Brunswick,  the cops were pelted with fire bombs and it was discovered that the Indians were armed to the teeth!
In response, the cops fired tear gas and rubber bullets at the crowd!
NOW,
A group opposed to shale gas development in New Brunswick is raising questions about the RCMP’s enforcement of an injunction against protesters last week in the province. Jim Emberger of the New Brunswick Anti-Shale Gas Alliance says the Mounties should be asked about the authorization, timing and necessity of their actions Thursday near Rexton.
That’s right folks, according to Emberger, those fucking cops had better be held accountable for their actions! [sic]

(Forty people were arrested and weapons seized when the Mounties enforced the court-ordered injunction to end the blockade. Six police vehicles including an unmarked van were burned and the RCMP have said they had Molotov cocktails tossed at them.)

Here’s Jim getting the “fracking” crowd warmed up!
