Folks, your sometimes naive reporter just had a revelation of sorts.
OF COURSE the bible thumpers believe the world was created 6000 years ago ………….., and evolution is a myth.
After all, they also believe that Jesus spoke in 16th century English!

mystery+metal+secaucusWorkers at a New Jersey treatment plant say they saw a heavy, metallic object fall from the sky Wednesday, and they want to know where the potentially deadly projectile came from.
The employees at Secaucus Treatment Works said the 5-by-5 inch piece of metal debris hit a railing, ricocheted off a concrete tank, then hit the ground. It landed about 25 feet from where employees were working.
untitledThe workers said the object isn’t part of the plant and there were no planes in the sky at the time. They were afraid to touch it at first, but they later picked it up and examined it.
They went online in search of answers and came up with all sorts of theories.
“We went on the website and we looked up space shuttle tiles, and you could see that picture there, it basically matches up with that,” said Bronowich.
It seems unlikely; the last space shuttle mission was more than three years ago. So far, no one has been able to give employees a theory that seems to fit.
Employees handed the tile over to the county health department. Officials there tell NBC 4 New York it appears to be made of ceramic, metal and rubber-like layers.
(i.e. – A space shuttle tile! It just took three years to finally fall from orbit. Or it was deck plating from a U.F.O. -Ed.)
They were giving the piece to the FAA today.

Folks, toady’s feature article is worth paying attention to!!!!!
A Muslim civil rights group is asking the Department of Justice to investigate an Arkansas shooting range whose owner recently declared it a “Muslim-free zone.”
In a letter to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, Jenifer Wicks, a lawyer for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), writes that the declaration is “a violation of federal laws prohibiting racial and religious discrimination” and “will inevitably result in a hostile environment for ordinary Muslims in Arkansas.”
d82bdf60-4fe0-11e4-9c8b-8f622949e40a_576047_3386386069549_310583589_n1“This is not a coffee and donut shop,” Jan Morgan, owner of the Gun Cave Indoor Shooting Range in Hot Springs, Ark., wrote in an online post last month. “This is a live fire indoor shooting range … Why would I want to rent or sell a gun and hand ammunition to someone who aligns himself with a religion that commands him to kill me?”
Morgan, who says she has “read and studied” the Koran thoroughly, found “109 verses commanding hate, murder and terror against all human beings who refuse to submit or convert to Islam.”
“People who shoot at my range come from all religious backgrounds,” she wrote. “I do not care about their religious beliefs until or unless those beliefs command them to commit violent crimes against innocent people and I witness those crimes increasing, as we all have lately.”
Morgan claims that when she received her license to sell guns, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives informed her “that if we feel ANY reason for concern about selling someone a firearm, even sense that something is not right about an individual, or if we are concerned about that [person's] mental state, even if they pass a background check, we do not have to sell that person a gun. Two different ATF agents stressed that it is better to err on the side of caution. In other words, a federal agency has given [gun shops] discretion on firearms deals.
“I understand that not all Muslims are terrorists,” Morgan continued. “I also believe there are as many Muslims who do not know what is in their Koran as there are Christians who do not know what is in their Bible. Since I have no way of discerning which Muslims will or will not kill in the name of their religion and the commands in their Koran, I choose to err on the side of caution for the safety of my patrons.”
In the letter to Holder, Wicks writes that Morgan “appears to be misinterpreting the advice given to her and refusing service to all Muslims, which cannot be a correct interpretation of compliance with federal gun laws and the U.S. Constitution.”
But according to Morgan — who says she has received death threats from Muslims in the past — the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks; Boston Marathon bombing; Fort Hood massacre; and a recent beheading at an Oklahoma food distribution center justify her ban.
“This is more than enough loss of life on my home soil at the hands of Muslims to substantiate my position that Muslims can and may follow the directives in their Koran and kill here at home,” she wrote.
CAIR sent copies of its letter to the governor of Arkansas, U.S. Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Arkansas and the ATF’s Little Rock field office.
Morgan responded on her Facebook page: “It’s easy for CAIR to bully and threaten average American citizens like me who have a business to lose and a life to destroy. It’s what they do. We are the easy targets. I’ve been a target of Islamist threats for five years … fully expecting at any time one of them to follow through with the threat. I may go down for speaking the truth about Islam … I may lose everything I have, (which isn’t much) but they can’t take my integrity … This is a mountain I’m willing to die on.”

O.K. kids, this sort of things has got to STOP!
Police are searching for a man who allegedly got a bit too “touchy-feely” with a woman’s feet at a grocery store parking lot in South Jersey.
1067863-Clipart-Flasher-Man-From-Behind-Royalty-Free-Vector-IllustrationThe woman told police she was loading groceries into her vehicle in the parking lot of the ShopRite on Ark Road in Mount Laurel around 10:20 p.m. Saturday.
As she began to close her driver’s side door, a man stopped the door from closing. The man then told the woman he wanted to speak to her and complimented her toes, according to investigators.
The woman said the man then touched and squeezed two of her toes. After the woman told the man to stop touching her he let go and told her he was obsessed with toes, police said.
He then walked away.

William (Billy) Coleman, was doing his impression of Billy the Kid when someone walked up to him, and asked for a light for his cigarette.
While Billy was fumbling for a match, the guy snatched to gun from Billy’s holster and held him up (at gunpoint) ……………, and stole his gun!

Killer whales are known for their haunting songs consisting of complex whistles and clicks, but they can also learn “dolphin speak,” a new study finds.
images32F2S6MJMost animals communicate with innate sounds, such as the barking of dogs and the gobbling of turkeys. But some species, humans, for example, can imitate new sounds and learn how to use them correctly in social situations.
This ability, called vocal learning, is one of the foundations of language

For good reason, you don’t make jokes about bombs on airplanes. Now we can add another thing to the list of dumb things to say that will get you pulled from a flight: Ebola.
A 54-year-old American passenger on a US Airways flight from Philadelphia to the Dominican Republic reportedly said, “I have Ebola, you are all screwed,” adding that he had been to Africa.
Spoiler: He doesn’t have Ebola and hadn’t been to Africa.
Upon landing, a medical team wearing hazmat suits came onboard to remove the man from the plane. Another passenger captured the whole scene on video.
As the man makes his way off the jet, you can hear him say, “I was just kidding … I ain’t from Africa.” The investigation revealed that not only was he not sick with the virus that causes so much panic, he had also not been to Africa and hadn’t been around anyone infected with the virus.
The other passengers sat in the plane for two hours while the guy was evaluated. He’s now being sent back to the US.
One great thing, though: Instead of freaking out about a scary disease that people nonetheless shouldn’t panic about, the other passengers on the plane were quite mellow and mostly seemed interested in booing the man and capturing the scene on their phones.
It seems that the flight attendant at the beginning of the video (who handled the situation like a real pro) had it right when she said, “It’s going to look worse than it is … I think the man that has said this is an idiot and I’ll say that straight up.”
Here’s the video, which we first saw over on Gawker:

(The worst thing about this whole scene is that kid who kept blowing a whistle in the background, and nobody tried to stopped him. The guys in the suits should have taken him off first because things like that drive me nuts!)
