Well folks, it’s official, wind turbines do NOT cause illness, or even ill effects, in people.
A year long study of over 1000 people has positively shown that wind turbines do not cause bad things to good people.
Not through noise, or magnetic fields, or increased UFO traffic, or disruption of the O-zone, negative energy, Rastaman vibrations, or anything else that opponents are saying about them.
BUT!
People are definitely making themselves sick by worrying about it!
That’s right boys and girls, people really are getting sick ..………………, and they have nobody to blame but themselves!

I got a letter from a woman today who was concerned I was not being serious enough about the prevalence of sexual harassment in society, since I questioned why this topic has become a “soup du jour,” or “special of the day,” or “flavour of the month,” in the world of journalism.
Folks, let me go on record as saying that I am very concerned about sexual harassment, ESPECIALLY when I hear about someone knocking their dates around on a regular basis, like the allegations against Jian Ghomeshi.
But!
Two things bother me about this whole debate kids.
First of all, everybody and his brother is attempting to make political hay out of this subject.
And
Two: Given a male point of view from someone who thinks that beating your wife, etc. is about the same as “keying” your own car, I think there is a certain percentage of women who accuse men of sexual harassment/assault as a “get even” for other issues in their relationship!
So ……….., do I take this issue lightly?
NOT FOR A SECOND!
But
IT’S NOT AN EXCUSE FOR SOMEONE TO JUMP ON THE BANDWAGON EITHER!

A Windsor, Ont. man was arrested when he exited a plane at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport on Wednesday night.
Mohammed El Shaer was arrested in Toronto upon his return to Canada, RCMP told us last night.
(Police have not said where the flight was coming from.)
Three guesses why he was arrested, bunky!!!!

Now this story confirms what we have been saying about the importance of getting a complete home inspection before you buy a house:
The smell of a mummified corpse greeted the new owner of a Cape Coral home when he entered for the first time Wednesday morning. The identity of the body is unknown.
The house on SE 19th Lane has rusted iron gates on each window and every door. Neighbors say the house was sold at auction Tuesday, and that the owner arrived to evaluate the property and mow the lawn.
Next door neighbor Gary Oben Jr., 30, said he used to park his van in the driveway.
“I had a hunch, Oben said. “Either it was a growhouse or there was a dead lady in there. The whole community thought so.”
What was missing was the smell. Oben said he saw the woman a handful of times in a decade. She was a recluse. She got the mail and she watered the lawn.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this story came out of Detroit, but no, it was from Florida!

AND HOW’S THIS FOR A GRAND FINALE’
NEWSER) – Naturalist Paul Rosolie believes “you have to go head first.”
635508685533133885-SNAKE001What he’s referring to is shoving his head into the mouth of an anaconda, letting it swallow him, and filming the experience for a Discovery Channel special called Eaten Alive, News.com.au reports.
According to the Discovery Channel’s blurb on the show, which premieres Dec. 7, the 26-year-old will enter “the belly of an anaconda in a custom-built snake-proof suit”; he’s shown in a preview video wearing it with an emergency line attached to his ankle, the Independent reports.
Wildlife advocates are calling Rosolie’s TV experiment cruel. “#EatenAlive is disgusting. Why put an animal under so much trauma? All for the wonder of live tv,” says one miffed tweeter.
But Rosolie, a wildlife filmmaker who works with anacondas in the Amazon, says his mission is to protect the creatures. “If u know me — I would never hurt a living thing. But you’ll have to watch # EatenAlive to find out how it goes down,” he tweeted.
Business Insider sees that comment as an indication that maybe this is just a stunt, noting that in order to not bring harm to the snake, Rosolie would have to get out of it without cutting it open, an “improbable” feat.
