News from the Middle-East again today folks!
ISIS has committed its second-biggest civilian massacre in Syria with an attack on the town of Kobani and a nearby village, killing at least 146 civilians so far, a conflict monitor said on Friday.
Fighting between the Kurdish YPG militia and Islamic State fighters who infiltrated the town at the Turkish border on Thursday continued into a second day, said Rami Abdulrahman, head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Look kids, to reiterate once again, popular sentiment here in the West dictates that as soon as one of these Islamic militants is captured, prudence dictates that they be immediately shot in the head.
That way we're done with the problem and there is no need to pay good money after bad to imprison these assholes!
Turn them into martyrs and give them their 72 virgins!

MEANWHILE: The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for a deadly explosion that struck a Shiite mosque in the Kuwaiti capital after Friday prayers.
A posting on a Twitter account known to belong to the Islamic State group said the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt. The attack was claimed by an IS affiliate calling itself the Najd Province, the same group that claimed a pair of bombing attacks on Shiite mosques in Saudi Arabia in recent weeks.

A man was decapitated Friday in a suspected "Islamist attack" on a gas factory near the southeastern French city Lyon, authorities said. (One person was killed and two people were hurt in the incident, which began when a car was driven into gas canisters, setting off an explosion.)

(On 23 June 2015, Amazon.com (among other retailers) announced that they would no longer by vending Confederate flag merchandise on their site, a move prompted by controversy following the 17 June 2015 racially motivated shooting that left nine people dead at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in downtown Charleston, South Carolina.)

MEANWHILE, ON A LIGHTER NOTE:
News out of New York that NBC is evaluating its commitment to the upcoming Miss USA pageant hours after Univision's decision to drop the program over comments made by Donald Trump, a source tells The Hollywood Reporter.
(Univision announced Thursday that it is ending its business relationship with Trump's Miss Universe Organization based on what it deemed "insulting remarks about Mexican immigrants." The decision was made by Univision Communications president and CEO Randy Falco, who felt compelled to sever ties with Trump given that 80 percent of Univision's 4,000 employees are Hispanic.)
“Donald Trump’s opinions do not represent those of NBC, and we do not agree with his positions on a number of issues, including his recent comments on immigration,” the network said in a statement late Thursday.
Preparation is already underway for the live event, which is set to broadcast from Baton Rouge, La., on July 12.
NBC and Univision have aired the Miss USA pageant for the past 12 years. The Miss Universe Organization, which presents the Miss USA, Miss Teen USA and Miss Universe pageants, is a joint venture between Trump and NBCUniversal that dates back to 2002. NBCUniversal currently has a five-year, $13.5 million contract with Trump.
