Well, I finally settled down after yesterdays rant about remarks made by Major Tom, or General Tom, or whatever his name is, concerning men's biological predisposition to be the aggressors and pursuers of women.(That's why we have problems with sexual harassment and objectifying women in today's society! And by the way, just so ya know, Tom was right, and the P.C. crowd was wrong in condemning him!)
BUT!
Let me now talk about the SECOND thing I was upset about! (You'll remember I got so upset I forgot what the second thing was!)
CARDING! (That's a process where the cops arbitrarily stop someone on the street and record their name, address, reason for being there, etc.)This same P.C. crowd that condemns General Tom, claims carding unfairly targets blacks and that's why it's wrong!
Bullshit!
It shouldn't be about blacks being stopped at all bunky! IT'S ABOUT THE FACT THAT COPS ARE ARBITRARILY STOPPING ANYONE ON THE STREET AND ASKING FOR I.D. WHEN THEY HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING WRONG!
Look folks, the way I understand the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the only way a cop can stop you and ask for I.D., is if they are directly investigating a crime, or think one is about to occur! (Even this gives them way too much leeway!!!)This is not Nazi Germany, or some Communist Dictatorship, or Muslim Autocracy ....., we don't need to show I.D. on demand, or travel papers for that matter.
This is Canada!
Let's not forget that.
