Where's The Beef?

Well folks, your ever vigilant reporter figured this would happen sooner or later, but it still caught me off guard when it did occur!

What the dastardly perpetrators did was start off with a title for a post that you just couldn't ignore:

"Why the penis is shaped the way it is!"

I don't know about you, but when I see something like that title, there is no way I can NOT read the article. ("Inquiring minds want to know," etc. etc.)

Now here comes the good part, first they get you with a not to be denied headline,  and then, when the page you want to see pops up ................., it's nothing but a  page full of advertisements! 

No story, just ads!

GOTCHA! (After all, the advertisers wouldn't want something distracting you from their ads now, would they?)

Yup, they finally found a way to cut out the middleman, kids!

That's not to say that this was a novel idea folks, because this reminds me of when I was a kid and first starting out in radio.  I was doing the typical small town morning show, and it was so packed with commercials that we had to cut the music down from about 3 1/2 minutes per tune to 1 - 2 minutes by taking out the middle of each piece of music.  Basically all ya got was the start and end of each song so that we could get all the ads in ......., but nobody seemed to mind! (Of course, since we were the only station in town at that time, they didn't have much choice!!!!!)
