In my book 'A Brief History of Western Religion' (The Plain Truth About God) we discuss in great length the facts and myths that have surrounded our concept of God since the beginning of time, and what effect this has had on our development as a society!
One of the greatest mysteries we tackle in the book was in determining just Who, or What it is that presents Itself as God to the human race.
