Liars Club!

Dear Readers:

I am sick to death of liars!

Now I don't mean the actual act of lying, but rather using lies to obfuscate one's intentions or aspirations to the point where normal discourse becomes impossible for any person of sound mind or reasonable intelligence kids! (In other words, we have become a nation of tap-dancers!)

What brought this whole thing about was an article I read this morning that claimed Donald Drumpf lied about, or misdirected his intentions for 70% of the statements he made.

Let me repeat that: 70% of the stuff that came out of his mouth was bullshit!

Now this isn't the most amazing thing about it folks ......, the clincher is that the people listening to him, (Trump-heads) just DON'T CARE!

To paraphrase Marshall McLuhan: "THE MESSENGER IS THE MESSAGE!"

Misdirection, or "spin," has become the predominant form of communicating in our society and I think we're on a long slippery slope towards damnation if we don't do something about it!

I'm not just talking about politics here bunky, or even religion, but rather the way this verbal cancer has infiltrated every aspect of society from advertising to the judicial system! 

You can't believe a word you see on the Internet or in TV commercials these days, and ya sure as hell can't see it in our justice system where the prime raison d'être for both the prosecution and defence teams is winning for their side, and damn the consequences! (On of the prime examples of this would be the O.J. Simpson trial ......, establishing the facts of the matter took an almost non-existent role compared to winning the case!)

Yes boys and girls,  instead of our world being based on reality and common sense it seems to be spiraling out of control with malicious, double crossing, double dealing, delusory misrepresentations ......, and there ain't a damn thing we can do about it!
