All quiet on the western front ......, of London!

Dear Readers:

Naturally I have been following the news about the terrorist killed in Strathroy yesterday because it hits so close to home.

After a news conference by the R.C.M.P. this afternoon a few more details have been made public and although I didn't really think that downtown Byron [sic] was a target as the Perspective Research Department told us, I was shocked to find out that this guy wasn't going to Toronto, but rather had called a cab to take him into London to do his dastardly deed. (Byron is a suburb on the western edge of London, and while it wasn't the target ....., the terrorist would have had to go right past my house to get to downtown London!)

Apparently he was going to Richmond and Dundas St ....., and that poor busker who plays the bongos on that corner every day would have been blown to smithereens. (Along with a bunch of other people!)

The only bright spot would be that the two religious nuts on the opposite corner who annoy everybody with their never ending preaching over a portable amplifier would probably have been blown up too!


As it turned out the terrorist is dead, everybody in London is safe, and the people of Strathroy are slowly coming out of their houses today!
