They'll never come take me away ...., I'm normal!

Dear Readers:

If you want to know how nuts some of the Republicans down in the states are, just read this: Patrick J. Michaels of the conservative Cato Institute said that there has been a “hit list” apparently targeting climate scientists, and that he had influence over who was on it.

At this point, it is unclear exactly what this list was about. But from what Michaels said, it looks like it consisted of scientists being targeted for termination from their jobs because they are warning of global warming and climate change.

That's right folks, it's not enough that these assholes deny climate change, but they have gone so far as to harass and threaten the jobs of anyone who disagrees with them.

(Folks the Republicans started to go off the tracks back in the early 50's when Senator "Joe" McCarthy was accusing everyone and his brother of being a communist  ........, and they just keep getting worser and worser, and crazier and crazier as time goes by. The Party is now in the position of qualifying as one gigantic insane asylum, and they are dragging the entire country down with them!)

Michaels, past president of the American Association of State Climatologists, and current Director of Cato’s Center for the Study of Science, is one of the most highly quoted doubters of mainstream science on climate change.

Given the upcoming presidential election, another important question comes to mind: Is such a “hit list” being prepared in the event that Donald Trump wins? The Republican candidate has said that global warming is a concept invented by the Chinese to make the United State noncompetitive.

He also decried spending money on what he called ‘the global warming hoax.”
