Do as I say, not as I do!

To whom it may concern:

I just ran across something that is not only surprising, but outright alarming in it's intent because of the mindset of those that proposed this outrageous law. 

(Hint: It happens to be the Texas GOP   ....., The Republicans!)

If America wants a more intelligent electorate, it needs to stop implementing dumb-ass policies — like the one Texas came up with in 2012 — that prevent children from getting a good education. The following paragraph was drafted by the Texas GOP in 2012:

“We oppose the teaching of 'Higher Order Thinking Skills,' and 'critical thinking skills' and all similar programs that are simply a relabeling of 'Outcome-Based Education' which focus on challenging the student’s fixed beliefs and undermining parental authority.”
