Allan's Perspective is not recommended for the politically correct, or the overly religious! Some people have opinions, and some have convictions ..., what we offer is Perspective! (Sometimes I feel like I'm just a bobble-head on the highway of life!)

I was addicted to the hokey pokey, but I turned myself around!

I can swear there is no Heaven, and I pray there ain't no Hell!

To whom it may concern:

John Swencki

John Swencki, Roman Catholic priest.
Actually, being an atheist is “safer” than believing in God. By professing belief in God, a person implicitly accepts all kinds of obligations, values, priorities, duties, responsibilities for which he/she will one day be accountable. According to his/her lights, an atheist does not have these obligations (other than the basic human value of “Do unto others…”) and might not be accountable for them.

So… if you’re going to be a believer…. know what you are getting yourself into. Know what will be expected of you. Because when the final tally is made, it just might be easier for a good atheist to get into heaven than for a bad believer.

AMEN!
