Allan's Perspective is not recommended for the politically correct, or the overly religious! Some people have opinions, and some have convictions ..., what we offer is Perspective!

Consciousness is not a phenomenon of the observable universe. It is that which makes the universe observable. Consciousness is the physical manifestation of God within us!

They're dropping like flies, folks!

To whom it may concern:

Playwright Edward Albee, best known for his 1962 Broadway play Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, has died. He was 88.

Playwright Edward Albee Dies at 88

Meanwhile: W.P. Kinsella, the B.C.-based author of Shoeless Joe, the award-winning novel that became the film Field of Dreams, has died at 81.

His literary agency confirms the writer had a doctor-assisted death on Friday in Hope, B.C. The agency did not provide details about Kinsella's health.

Cape Breton is a small island at the eastern end of Nova Scotia. It features all four seasons, the population (as or 2001) is just under 150,000 and the community is true to its small town roots.

The Farmer's Daughter Country Market, a bakery and general store, is a staple of this hidden paradise and it is looking to expand. They have everything they need, except people.

After hiring all the qualified locals in need of a job, the business put out a nearly too-good-to-be-true call for help on Facebook.

Anyone willing to relocate (and meet the needs and qualifications of the store) will be offered a job and two acres of land to live on.
However, since the town is not qualified for the Foreign Worker Program, it can take only people who are legally authorized to work in Canada (just a few extra steps for any foreigner who really really wants the job).
For more information about the requirements, check out the Farmer's Daughter Country Market's Facebook page.

It's not only the Stars that are coming out in Toronto for T.I.F.F.

It was a special night on Toronto sky watcher's calendars, as the Harvest Moon reached its peak when it rose in the east at 7:22 p.m.

Adding to the intrigue of what is already one of the most celebrated moons of the year (thank you Neil Young), tonight's version will also be an extra bright super-moon.

A headline from 'Wonkette': Donald Trump Grants President Obama Retroactive Citizenship! (Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton returned to the campaign trail today ...., and didn't fall over dead!!!!)

Now we all know that Lucy Maud Montgomery wrote "Anne of Green Gables" and the fictional home of Anne is a national monument and giant tourist attraction. (Especially for the Japanese for some strange reason!)

Another tourist attraction with strong ties to Lucy Maud Montgomery has opened in Park Corner.

It's the Montgomery Inn at Ingleside, (where Lucy grew up) and which after a year of hard work and renovations has become a four-star historic inn.

The Montgomery Inn in Ingleside was built in the 1870s by Lucy Maud Montgomery's grandfather.
