Dear Friends: "Let's get things back into Perspective!"
Since I just came back from two weeks in B.C. I have more than a passing interest in the lifestyle and the politics of the place.
Today all the tree huggers were dancing in the streets because the "Green's" formed a coalition with the NDP and beat out the Liberals by one seat.
(Just in case you're wondering, the Liberals had 43 seats, the NDP had 41 seats, and the Green's had 3 seats. So, by simple arithmetic the Liberals and NDP ganged up and had 44 seats ...., while the Liberals only get 43 seats)
My point is this, folks: With only three seats the 'Greens' are the tail wagging the dog and they are going to insist we shut down the Trans Mountain pipeline. (They already shut down the Northern Gateway Line.)
What all this means is that these eco-nuts will affect the Canadian economy to the tune of BILLIONS of dollars and there doesn't seem to be a damned thing we can do about it!
