Dear Friends: "Let's get things back into perspective here!"
I didn't really want to start on this subject because I knew it might develop into a full fledged rant that went on for pages and pages, so I have to temper myself and try to make this as short and sensible as possible.
I am disgusted, angered, bewildered, gob-smacked and just plain sickened by the latest stunt being perpetrated on us by the LGTBQRSTUVWXYZ community.
Look, there was a time before the enlightenment (pre-1960?) when gays were not only discriminated against, but outright threatened by society, so they naturally had to hide in the closet until a few brave souls came out into the limelight and made homosexuality more acceptable to the rest of us. (Thank God for Liberace!)
BUT: Now the pendulum has swung completely the other way and we are being assaulted by queer activists who just can't seem to leave well enough alone.
The latest atrocity happened today when a baby in British Columbia (where else?) was given a birth certificate that did not say "Male," or "Female," but rather had a big "U" ........., for "Undetermined!"
That's right folks, "Undetermined," just in case the kid grew up and decided that it wanted to be something other than what it was!
The Transgendered community (who make up about 3 or 4 percent of the 3 or 4 percent of the gay community here in Canada) is the tail that wants to wag the dog and change the way we think in our society!
(My math is not that good but it seems like that is somewhere around 5 out of every 100,000 people in this country ......, for a grand total of 1800 people who aren't sure just what the hell they are.)
Anyway, I am getting sick and tired of all these minority groups telling the rest of us how to live, think, behave and above all, conform to their fringe beliefs and causes.
