Centennial Flame on Parliament Hill!

Dear Friends: For more than 50 years, the Centennial Flame has burned on Parliament Hill in front of the Peace tower.

That flame, which was lit to celebrate Canada's 100th birthday, runs on Canadian-made natural gas.

But now the federal government is mulling over turning off Canada’s flame in exchange for LED light bulbs.

This is not a joke.

Our friends at the Canadian Gas Association (CGA) have released an open letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau asking that we keep Canada’s flame burning – and they need your help.

Canada’s natural gas industry is one of the best in the world. It provides affordable energy to Canadians and to a growing market outside our borders. It provides good paying jobs to tens of thousands of workers across our great country.

Send a letter today to Prime Minister Trudeau asking him to Keep Canada’s Flame alive.
