Now, more than ever, Toronto should get Amazon HQ2!

Dear Friends: A lot of things have happened since Amazon first went hunting for a new HQ2 and although Toronto is in the final round anyway I think we have some compelling reasons why the second Amazon headquarters should be located there.

1. The exchange rate is lower in Canada!

2. Toronto has a huge 'Port Lands' development that is transforming the entire east end of the docklands into a high tech incubator hub including the new Google Canadian Headquarters.

3. Since a lot of jobs will depend on skilled foreign tech workers  they will be a lot easier to recruit in Canada compared to the anti-immigrant position being taken by the States.

4. With prohibitive tariffs and a possible trade war developing, Amazon HQ1  would still serve the entire United States domestic market while the Toronto HQ2 would be more flexible to serve the rest of the world!

5. It would be a great way to tell Drumpf to go fuck himself!

I could go on and on kids, but these five reasons should be enough of an 'incubator' to get Jeff's thoughts drifting north!
