The story I’m going to tell you will cause panic if you’re at all concerned about Canada turning into a police state.
We here in North America go through life pitifully unaware of just how much the authorities are watching our every move.
Oh, It’s not like Great Britain where they have CCTV cameras on just about every corner, but it’s not too far off!
On Monday afternoon a friend’s daughter was on her way to work the afternoon shift at her downtown London company when she had a minor fender-bender with another car at a stoplight. It was no big deal, she just rolled forward while waiting for the light to change and gently bumped the car in front of her.
This “accident” didn’t cause any damage and since she was in heavy traffic, she just continued on her way and went to work.
What she didn’t realize was that the woman whom she bumped called the cops and reported her license number, and also said she got a sore neck from the impact. (Whiplash? The whole thing was a bunch of crap, but since there was a report of personal injury the cops had to investigate!)
NOW, HERE’S THE RUB, BUNKY!
This girl is an extremely private person and has had no previous contact with the police at any time. On top of that, nobody where she lives knows anything about her!
SO! How come about one hour after this whole thing started the cops showed up at her place of employment to question her?
You see my point?
No one knows her, no one knows anything about her, and they only have a license plate number which would only give her name and address. (And no one at her apartment building knows anything about her!)
This doesn’t make sense, folks! Unless the cops have a secret database on ALL OF US, they would have no way of knowing where to find her if she wasn’t at home!
Would they?
