News from down east that a cow escaped its pen at an auction in Annapolis and went on a 10 km rampage that left 4 people in hospital before the cops were able to put a bullet in it! 

The President of the Annapolis County Federation of Agriculture, Lloyd Evans, said the cow escaped at the exhibition grounds in Lawrencetown when employees were trying to unload cattle from a truck into a holding pen.
"The animal running loose was crazy," Evans said. "Usually if you're standing in front of an animal they'll go around you. Well, this animal was charging right through anybody that got in front of it."
The cow ran up Highway 1, he said, then down a trail until it was about eight kilometres away from the auction site. That's when the RCMP arrived on the scene and shot and killed the animal.
