Oh, I know that it's not always the most unbiased work since it is written by the general population, and certain prejudices are likely to slip in once in a while.
BUT!
When it comes to a one sided, prejudiced, just plain "tunnel vision" viewpoint, there is no other site on the Internet today that can take the place of "Conservapedia!"
Like it's name suggests, this "encyclopedia" styles itself after Wikipedia, only it publishes articles with a far Right Wing slant that you wouldn't believe!
Not that there is anything new about these idiots stretching, and even breaking the truth to suit their own particular version of how things are!
You know, like calling evolution a "theory," while referring to Creationism as "Creation Science!"
(Now I have to digress for a moment and admit that the slogan for this blog [Perspective] is "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story," but that quote is meant to be more philosophical and humorous than an actual policy that is being followed by these fanatical right wingers!)
It make the hair on my head stand on end when I hear the likes of Anne Coulter say;
"Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele was absolutely right.....,. Afghanistan is Obama's war and, judging by other recent Democratic ventures in military affairs, isn't likely to turn out well."Here this ditzy broad is trying to put the blame for the war in Afghanistan on Obama's head even though it was Georgie W that started it, and is suggesting that if it goes south (which it will) that will be Obama's fault as well!
Then we have a poll that says; Independent Voters 'Disappointed' and 'Angry' With Barack Obama!
A majority of Independent voters are unhappy with the Obama administration and just over half intend to use their vote in November to put a check on the president and the Democratic Congress, according to a Fox News poll released today.I won't comment on this any further than to say it's an outright lie!
Yea, like they're unbiased!
Moreover, every time the generic vote question has been asked since March, self-identified independent voters have given the edge to the Republican candidate by a range of 6-13%.
And one more, just for good measure!
The Obama administration is offering incentives to Kenya to approve a controversial new constitution that would legalize abortion for the first time, promising that passage will "allow money to flow" into the nation's coffers, including U.S. aid.Another outright lie, but then again, "Never let the truth get in the way of a good story!
