He says he can’t quite understand why Stephen Hawking, the world renowned astrophysicist, views them with such trepidation!
(Hawking recently warned that malevolent aliens could lead to the destruction of humanity.)
The longtime cabinet minister accuses Hawking of spreading misinformation about extraterrestrials. “I think he’s indulging in some pretty scary talk there that I would have hoped would not come from someone with such an established stature,”
Hellyer said in an interview. “I think it’s really sad that a scientist of his repute would contribute to what I would consider more misinformation about a vast and very important subject.
Hawking speculates in a new documentary that most extraterrestrial life will be similar to microbes, or small animals — but he adds that advanced life forms may be “nomads, looking to conquer and colonize” new planets.
Hellyer served in the Liberal cabinets of Louis St. Laurent, Lester Pearson and Pierre Trudeau, later crossed the floor to the Conservative party, and eventually returned to the Liberals.
(Hellyer, who ran for the Liberal party leadership in 1968, has been speaking out publicly about “the star visitors” for years. Aren’t you glad he didn’t become our Prime Minister!!!!!!)
His most recent speech was in Washington in April 2009.
He dismisses a suggestion that some people might find his views a little hard to believe. “The reality is that they’ve (aliens) been visiting Earth for decades and probably millennia and have contributed considerably to our knowledge,” Hellyer said.
He says earthlings owe a lot to their alien friends. Even that computer screen on your desk, he says, can trace its origins to spaceships. “Microchips, for example, and fiber-optics, they are just two of the many things that allegedly — and probably for real — came from crashed vehicles,” Hellyer said.
Hellyer admits that when he was defense minister, he never got any briefings on UFOs from the military.
He says he got reports of sightings, and that some of them could not be explained!
Well, ya have to admit, bunky, that these were fightin’ words to us, and I immediately put our entire staff on the case!
What we found out was truly amazing, and frightening, at the same time!
Seems all those ‘conspiracy’ theorists were right all along! According to these nuts people, there is a vast network of subtereanean caverns and caves occupied by these “Alien Invaders” and we have been able to find out the purpose behind some of them!

Notes: A deep iron-mine near the Quebec-Newfoundland border has been the site of unusual disappearances. Three men who visited the mine discovered an automatic door in the rock which led to an underground alien system of tunnels, chambers and strange machines.
In one chamber they saw a disc-like craft sitting on a platform, part of which became transparent revealing the inner mechanisms. Also in this same chamber a diminutive human like being appeared on a view-screen and gave a speech stating that they meant no harm and condemning those “picayunish deceivers” on the surface who would demonize the inhabitants of the inner world and their intentions. The three men then fell unconscious when an energy field illuminated the room, ad awoke outside of the mine. Shortly thereafter two of the young men reportedly died of radiation poisoning, and the remaining survivor’s notebook about the incident mysteriously spontaneously combusted into ashes.

This Base would be a delight for any of our engineers. Amazing, but this is a very peaceful Base, they work here as they are used at home.

CANADA, SOUTHERN
Cave explorers reportedly entered a cavern in southern Canada and discovered a perfectly circular polished shaft from which a “humming” sound emerged, when suddenly the group was attacked by “strange looking beings/creatures/humanoids” wielding heat-ray weapons. The only survivor, who was knocked into an alcove, was badly burned, and came to only to find the rest of his party missing. When a nearby village heard the story they dynamited the cave entrance shut.
