Another one bites the dust!

I just read over the weekend that another band member from some over the hill group from years gone by has cashed in his chips!
Look folks, I don’t mean to be a spoil sport, but this is hardly news anymore.
My generation (Yuppies) is slowly dying off and there ain’t nothin’ I can do about it!
In the fifteen years between JFK and Elvis (62 – 77) there were a lot of celebrity deaths and they all hit me hard, but since then it has become old hat!
I think what really started to jade me was when I heard that John Lennon was shot six times by Hinkley, and Yoko, who was standing right beside him, got off without a scratch.
Should of been the other way around kids!
Yes boys and girls, it’s a sad fact that we are getting older and more and more of us are biting the dust, but until I see my own name in the obits, I refuse to worry about it!
