The left-wing is crazy and the right-wing scares the shit out of me!

Allan's Perspective is NOT recommended for the politically correct, or the overly religious. Some people have opinions. Some people have convictions......... What we offer is PERSPECTIVE!

Another Manic Monday

Here’s the assortment of crude weapons confiscated outside the Coppa Italia final.

Well, we all know the Italians take their soccer seriously......, but seriously folks!

Pardon the pun, but this is a bit of 'overkill!'

The  Rob and  Doug Ford Pony Show was on TV yesterday, and the only thing your astute reporter can say is that if Rob Ford doesn't do cocaine or crack, then he had better do some meth...................., anything to get his weight down a bit! (The guy is a walking heart attack folks)

BANFF, Alta. -- Parks Canada officials are advising people in Banff to be on alert after a man told them he fought off an attacking cougar with his skateboard.

Hunt said the man told them he was listening to music through ear-buds while walking between the town site and an industrial area when the cougar attacked.

Hunt said. "He was carrying his skateboard, so he used that in defence of himself and hit the cougar with it. He was then able to get away."

Now we here at the Perspective Research Department, along with the Naked News staff, don't advise hitting any cougar, but if this broad was audacious enough to pick on someone young enough to have a skateboard, then she got what she deserved!

WASHINGTON (AP) — Republicans keep slamming President Barack Obama's push to move the government away from a war footing and refine and recalibrate counterterrorism strategy.

Capitol Hill Republicans like Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina said Sunday that "at a time when we need resolve the most, we're sounding retreat."

Obama is trying to recast the image of terrorists from enemy warriors to cowardly thugs and move the United States away a state of perpetual war.

(Graham said Obama is displaying a "lack of resolve" despite a slew of concerns in the Middle East, including civil war and chemical weapons in Syria and threats to Israel from Syria's unrest and Iran's nuclear program.)

"We show this lack of resolve, talking about the war being over," Graham said. "What do you think the Iranians are thinking? At the end of the day, this is the most tone-deaf president I ever could imagine."

"I see a big difference between the president saying the war's at an end and whether or not you've won the war," said Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla. "We can claim that it's at an end, but this war's going to continue. And we have still tremendous threats out there, that are building, not declining, building, and to not recognize that, I think, is dangerous in the long run and dangerous for the world."

(We here at Perspective don't really see a solution to this mess unless the Republicans get their wish and just Nuke everyone!)

The South Florida man who caught and killed the longest Burmese python ever found in Florida gets to keep the snakeskin.

The skin is 18 feet long, and he plans to make a wallet, a pair of pants, a hat and a briefcase out of it. What is left over will be used to re-cover the seats of his car!

Folks, if your hesitant travelling reporter has to go anywhere, I think I would prefer a plane ride to a ship's cruise any day of the week!

A Royal Caribbean International ship was sailing to a Bahamas port after a Monday morning fire in which no one was injured, the company said.
The fire began in a mooring area on the Grandeur of the Seas cruise ship around 2:50 a.m. It was extinguished just before 5 a.m., the company said on one of its Twitter accounts.
The ship, with 2,224 guests and 796 crew members, initially was headed to CocoCay, Bahamas, but it will now go to Freeport for evaluation, Royal Caribbean said in a news release.

Talking about ships, when our family came to Canada from war ravaged Europe back in 1952, I spent the entire voyage going round and round the main deck on my scooter!  Mom figures if it had gone in a straight line I would have made it across the Atlantic all by myself !

There is nothing more pathetic than an over-the-hill rock and roller kids!

Here is a headline taken from a recent celebrity rag!

I'll give a million bucks to anyone who can tell me who Gabe Saporta or Erin Fetherston are!

AND FINALLY:

I used to write the occasional article for a blog called “Muslims against Sharia,” but gave it up due to lack of interest, and fear of having a crazy guy show up at my door if I said the wrong thing!

I guess the Muslims weren’t that interested in it either, since I just noticed that it closed down after about six months of service!

THIS IS PART OF THE LAST ARTICLE THEY PUBLISHED!
