Your long suffering reporter is REALLY confused this morning after reading something like this, and then hearing that the cops had to justify their actions!
If someone was throwing Molotov cocktails at me boys and
girls, I would be tempted to do a lot more than fire rubber bullets and
tear gas!
NOTE; It’s now Saturday evening, and the Indian uprising is getting worse according to the evening news……………, LISTEN FOLKS, IT’S NOT ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT, THE INDIANS ARE USING THIS AS AN EXCUSE TO GET A CUT OF THE PIE. IT’S JUST ANOTHER MONEY MAKER WITH WHICH THEY CAN HOLD THE GOVERNMENT TO RANSOM!
Oh, and did I mention that over 200 cars blocked the 402 around Strathroy this afternoon because all the wind turbine protesters didn't have anything else to do? (Good thing I didn't have to go to Sarnia today!!!!)

AND, ON ANOTHER, “NOT SO GREAT” CASE,” local London cops are in hot water because of their fascist Police State tactics yesterday!
Cops went to the streets where we had the Fanshawe College riots last year and started going door to door taking the names of all the students who lived in the rental buildings as a pre-emptive measure.
The only trouble is that someone forgot to tell them that this is AGAINST THE CHARTER OF RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, and a whole bunch of other stuff …………… so now the shit hit the fan and there is a big investigation!

Hall of Fame centre Bill Russell was arrested this week at
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport after Transportation Security
Administration officials found a loaded gun in his luggage.
Russell was arrested Wednesday night as he attempted to go through security. Airport spokesman Perry Cooper confirmed Friday night that Russell was cited for having a weapon in a prohibited area. Russell’s gun was confiscated and he was released.

Folks, I keep telling ya that it’s not safe to go down to Mexico, and
after reading THIS…………….., perhaps you will now believe me!
We’ve had friends shot at by bandits while driving through the countryside, and you’ve heard about the gang problems down there, but this piece takes the cake!
Shannon Amy Guy, 24, was honeymooning with her
husband Paul at the Tulum Oasis Resort when she went out onto their
third-floor balcony Wednesday night to pose for a picture with another
couple.
As Paul Guy aimed the camera the balcony collapsed, plunging his wife and the others to the ground.
Shannon died of her injuries in hospital — the man and woman who fell with her were hurt, however, the extent of their injuries is unknown.
See, even the buildings are shitty!

A female zookeeper has been bitten on the finger by a gorilla at the Calgary Zoo.
Zoo spokeswoman Laurie Skene said the employee was receiving medical
treatment but wouldn’t say how badly injured the person was or the type
of animal involved.
However, those details were provided by Lisa Glover of Occupational Health and Safety, which is investigating the incident.
Skene says the zookeeper was working outside a cage and the animal was inside, although the gorilla did say that Ms. Skene started the whole thing!

If you’re looking for a career that can take you into
retirement, don’t be a female model. But if you already are one and
find yourself approaching the (gasp!) big three-oh, consider doing what
Elliott Sailors, 31, did and switch genders.
The New York Post
reports that Sailors, a stunning blonde who for years worked steadily
as a Ford Agency model, decided to switch things up once she found the
offers were drying up. She cut off her hair, ditched the makeup and made
use of her strong jawline to become a “male” model.
Sailors told the Post that in the modeling world “men don’t need to look as young as possible, so I have a lot of time.”
When she goes to casting calls for male models, she shows up in flannel, jeans, boots and a biker jacket.
Sailors told the Post that she often walks around town dressed like a man because it’s easier (no heels, no makeup). On the negative side, she has noticed that nobody holds the door for her anymore.
“When I’m in an elevator,” she told The Post, “I notice that they let all of the girls go first — like the real girls.”
According to Model Mayhem, Sailors has appeared in Cosmopolitan, American Harper’s Bazaar, Fitness, and Shape. She also recently modeled for Contributor magazine.

Six police vehicles including an unmarked van were
burned Thursday in Rexton after the RCMP moved in to enforce a
court-ordered injunction to remove protesters at the site of a compound
where SWN Resources stored exploration equipment. (A spokeswoman for the
police force said Thursday that threats were made against private
security guards at the site on Wednesday night.)
The Mounties said Molotov cocktails were tossed at them and they responded by firing non-lethal sock rounds — beanbag type bullets — and pepper spray to defuse the situation.
The RCMP’s commanding officer in New Brunswick, Roger Brown, said no officers discharged their firearms at any point Thursday.
He did say officers discovered a number of weapons at the encampment, including improvised explosive devices and firearms. (Actually, they found out later that the natives were armed to the teeth!)
