The left-wing is crazy and the right-wing scares the shit out of me!

Saturday Morning Confusion #96

Dear Readers:

Although your humble servant continues to vote Conservative here in Canada, I maintain a wariness, and even fear of the Republicans in the States.

Aside from their militaristic ambitions, the reluctance to help the middle-class and poor achieve a better quality of life, (health care, etc. etc.) their assault on the intelligentsia, (scientific community) and those idiotic religious convictions, the "Grand Old Party" now states that they want to leave the NSA as it is and let them continue to spy on the average American to their hearts content.

I don't know how they have hoodwinked a large portion of the American public to support them, (read - poor whites) but their attempts to divide the people into greater blocs of "have" and "have-nots," the increasing support, and reliance upon their military, as well as the criminalisation of large parts of the American population, can only project the country further into a "Big Brother" State!

As they say in the movies, it's a great place to visit, but I sure wouldn't want to live there!

Well folks, here's another case of "bad mommy!"

In just the third such court case in the country, a New Jersey judge has ruled a man is father to one twin while another man is father to the other.

The children's mother named a man, identified as "AS," as the father of her twin girls, born in January 2013, when she applied for public assistance in Passaic County, the Star-Ledger reports.

When she acknowledged that she'd had sex with another man within a week of her encounter with AS, a DNA test was conducted. It revealed what the New York Times calls "a tangled web of love and biology."

AS had fertilized one egg with 99.9% certainty; the other was fertilized by the other man during the same menstrual cycle. Judge Sohail Mohammed ruled AS must pay child support for only the child he fathered, totaling $28 a week

Well kids, it's time for another "Asshole of the Day!"

A man is in jail after authorities say he foiled his own robbery by accidentally pepper-spraying himself.

The Register-Herald (http://bit.ly/1P5rwbx ) reports 43-year-old Michael Kevin Meadows of West Virginia was arrested Wednesday for attempted robbery.

Authorities say a man went into a pharmacy in Beaver on Tuesday wearing full camouflage and a paintball mask.

The would-be robber started spraying pepper spray in an effort to take down employees, then walked into the cloud of pepper spray in front of him. Police say security footage showed he was affected by his own pepper spray.

He staggered out of the business and got into a vehicle. Police investigating the incident discovered the name of the man who was driving the vehicle.

The driver identified Meadows as the attempted robbery suspect.

It was a family affair at the Mad Max: Fury Road premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

Priscilla Presley and Lisa Marie Presley were on hand to support rocker Riley Keough.

Sean Penn walked the red carpet with the love of his life, Charlize Theron, who stars in the film and was wearing a black and white Dior dress.

Lisa Bonet, along with her partner Jason Momoa (the pairing effectively squashing any Lenny Kravitz rekindling rumors), were there for Zoe Kravitz, who looked so sweet in a lace Valentino gown.

From Rosie Huntington-Whitely in Rodarte to Nicholas Hoult in Alexander McQueen, everyone on the red carpet looked smoking hot — even if they were there solo.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who stars in the film, never fails to bring sexy to a red carpet.

When faced with the choice between legs or boobs, she always chooses both.

This Rodarte dress, from the line's Fall 2015 collection, is a more fashion-forward choice than the model/actress usually goes for, and it worked!
