Bad air out, good air in!

US doctor Henry Heimlich, who invented the maneuver used to help victims of choking, has died aged 96.

Dr Heimlich died at a hospital in the US city of Cincinnati early on Saturday following complications from a heart attack he suffered on Monday, his family says. (Dr Heimlich invented the lifesaving technique, which uses abdominal thrusts to clear a person's airway, in 1974.)

After a second heart attack earlier today nurses in the critical care unit mistakenly attempted to give the good doctor the "Heimlich" maneuver instead of the normal CPR ......., which led to his eventual death!

One of the nurses who attended to the doctor was forced to go to Mrs. Heimlich and personally apologize for her mistake!

Mrs. Heimlich was not amused!
