I will be a good Canadian....., so help me Great Spirit in the Sky!

Dear Friends: "Let's get things back into perspective here!"

A revised oath of citizenship will require new Canadians to faithfully observe the country’s treaties with Indigenous Peoples.

The proposed new text was put to focus groups held by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada in March, following months of consultation by departmental officials.

Folks, this basically means that ya have to promise the Indians that you will be a good Canadian.

It reads: “I swear (or affirm) that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of Canada, her heirs and successors, and that I will faithfully observe the laws of Canada including treaties with Indigenous Peoples, and fulfill my duties as a Canadian citizen.”

Between the French and the Indians they seem to have this politically correct / patriotic thing just about wrapped up, but I'm wondering what's going to happen to the rest of us?

The way I see it anyway!
