Astronomers tell us that an interstellar object is presently going thru the solar system.
Apparently it came from the direction of Vega and is traveling at a good clip on right angles to the orbital plane of the planets.
Folks I keep wondering why it looks so familiar and then I realized that we first saw this thing on an episode of the original 'Star Trek!'
Fortunately, at the time, Captain Kirk managed to turn off the planet destroyer mechanism inside the object and now it just has a bark that is much worse than its bite!
The way I see it anyway!
