The legacy of that man has been a pariah around the neck of my generation for decades and between him and Kent State and numerous other calamities it slowly drained away the optimism and hope that was supposed to be the hallmark of the sixties......, until we are only left with this clusterfuck we have today!
As is always the case we will have to leave it up to the next generation to see if they can muddle through and perhaps make a mark on the way things are, or should be, or could be, or just plain damned well better be!
The way I see it anyway!
