The left-wing is crazy and the right-wing scares the shit out of me!

Allan's Perspective is NOT recommended for the politically correct, or the overly religious. Some people have opinions. Some people have convictions......... What we offer is PERSPECTIVE!

Put it back in your pants!

Dear Friends: A rogues gallery. A wave of sexual-misconduct allegations against men in positions of power built slowly through the year. It started in April of 2017, with the ouster of Fox News host Bill O'Reilly, followed by several smaller stories through the summer.

Then, the movement exploded with reporting in October in the New York Times and the New Yorker about years of serious sexual misconduct by producer Harvey Weinstein, including accusations of assault and rape.

After that, the gates seemed to open, and many more women started coming forward to tell their stories. Many of the accused men deny any wrongdoing and remain in their positions. Gathered above, just 20 of the dozens of men who lost their jobs and more as a result of this movement.

Top row, from left: film producer Harvey Weinstein, former Fox News broadcaster Bill O'Reilly, New Republic contributing editor Leon Wieseltier, comedian Louis C.K., Walt Disney Animation Chief John Lasseter. Second row: PBS host Tavis Smiley, former "Prairie Home Companion" host Garrison Keillor, actor Jeremy Piven, Judge Roy Moore, former NBC News political commentator Mark Halperin. Third row: filmmaker Brett Ratner, documentary producer Morgan Spurlock, television host Charlie Rose, former Today Show co-host Matt Lauer, actor Kevin Spacey. Fourth row: Kentucky Representative Dan Johnson, Michigan Representative John Conyers, Arizona Representative Trent Franks, Texas Representative Blake Farenthold, and Minnesota Senator Al Franken.
