The 22nd Century!

Dear Friends: Your ever curious reporter commissioned a study by the Perspective Research Department to have a look at what the world would look like politically at the turn of the 22nd century.

Not surprisingly it seems that by the end of this 100 year stretch the planet will have stratified into at least three or more groups and spheres of influence that have aligned themselves along not only racial, but cultural lines as well.

Now I'm not being racist about this prediction or proposing to favour one group over another, it's just that  a natural balance will establish itself where the predominately Caucasian nations will form one camp in Europe, America and Australia while the Orientals will form another block centered in the Far East and the Black and Brown races will be concentrated in Sub-Saharan Africa and the India Sub-Continent.(There might also be an "Oceania" like in the book "1984!"

This is quite the opposite of the giant melting pot proposed by some....... with the human race eventually becoming more homogeneous as we become more mobile and wandering in our habits. This might be possible in some far off day in the future but the main concentration of distinct groups in different areas of the world will still keep us more heterogeneous in our looks and attitudes in spite of the increasing intercourse between one group/area and another.

While expanding communications between us will bring like minded or looking groups closer together over a larger area, (As in the Sub Saharan African Continent) the Balkanization of the human race will simply expand and split us into LARGER regional centers of governance and culture rather than local ones!


P.S. This also precludes any chance of Martian's integrating into mainstream human culture......... after all I'm OK with Whites, and Blacks, and Browns, and Yellows, and Reds.........., but I draw the line at green folks!
