Dear Friends:
Just because of all the trouble I write about concerning Don the Con Drumpf, that doesn't mean I am casting the first stone because we have our own fair share of problems with politicians right here in Canada!
SNC Lavlin is a HUGE construction company in Quebec that does lots of work in third world countries that need their infrastructure built up or fixed up.... and as a result, it's been found guilty of bribing people over there (like government officials) to get jobs.
Now this presents a bit of a dilemma since the only way you get jobs in a lot of these places IS TO BRIBE SOMEONE...... but since we should be setting a good example to other countries.... bribery is an offence under the Canadian Criminal Code!
So, this puts Lavlin on the horns of a dilemma because your damned if ya do, and damned if ya don't.
But it doesn't excuse the Prime Minister of Canada (Justin Trudeau) from putting pressure on the Attorney General to drop the charges..... and then try to cover up the interference when the whole thing goes south on him!
It appears that Justin Trudeau is following in the footsteps of his father (Former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau) by displaying colossal arrogance and disregard for the law of the land.... and he should be replaced in the fall general election so that nobody thinks we have another Trump up here!
