Dear Friends:
There is a constant and polarizing battle going on between the Democrats and the Republicans in the States..... it's a de-facto war between 'Big Business' and 'Big Government' kids!
The Democrats claim that big business is nothing more than Fascism at its worst!
Socialism vs. Social Democracy:

Fascism is a form of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and of the economy which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.Meanwhile, the Republicans claim that big government is, in fact, socialism, or maybe even communism:
Socialism vs. Social Democracy:
In the many years since socialism entered English around 1830, it has acquired several different meanings. It refers to a system of social organization in which private property and the distribution of income are subject to social control, but the conception of that control has varied, and the term has been interpreted in widely diverging ways, ranging from statist to libertarian, from Marxist to liberal. In the modern era, "pure" socialism has been seen only rarely and usually briefly in a few Communist regimes. Far more common are systems of social democracy, now often referred to as democratic socialism, in which extensive state regulation, with limited state ownership, has been employed by democratically elected governments (as in Sweden and Denmark) in the belief that it produces a fair distribution of income without impairing economic growth.
WELL........... it seems this Coronavirus outbreak has brought a few things to light folks:
The Republican "Big Business" model did away with a lot of government programs including the decimation of the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and then Drumpf fired the government’s entire pandemic response chain of command.
Trump Has Sabotaged America’s Coronavirus Response. As it improvises its way through a public health crisis, the United States has never been less prepared for a pandemic.
Building on the Ebola experience, the Obama administration set up a permanent epidemic monitoring and command group inside the White House National Security Council (NSC) and another in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)—both of which followed the scientific and public health leads of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the diplomatic advice of the State Department.
Bureaucracy matters. Without it, there’s nothing to coherently manage an alphabet soup of agencies housed in departments ranging from Defense to Commerce, Homeland Security to Health and Human Services (HHS).
But that’s all gone now.
In the spring of 2018, the White House pushed Congress to cut funding for Obama-era disease security programs, proposing to eliminate $252 million in previously committed resources for rebuilding health systems in Ebola-ravaged Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea. Under fire from both sides of the aisle, President Donald Trump dropped the proposal to eliminate Ebola funds a month later. But other White House efforts included reducing $15 billion in national health spending and cutting the global disease-fighting operational budgets of the CDC, NSC, DHS, and HHS. And the government’s $30 million Complex Crises Fund was eliminated.
If nothing else kids, this just goes to prove one thing!
BIG GOVERNMENT ........... BAD!
BIG BUSINESS............ BADDER!
The way I see it anyway!
